Third Reich SA Honor Dagger with Ernst Rohm Dedication - E D Wusthof, Solingen. The blade bears the etched dedication inscription: “In herzlicher Freundschaft Ernst Rohm” (“In Heartfelt Friendship, Ernst Röhm”). Approximately 135,860 such daggers were awarded before Rohm’s execution and the subsequent purge of the SA leadership in 1934, after which most examples were destroyed or altered. The blade, marked E.D. Wüsthof, Solingen, features the etched SA motto “Alles für Deutschland” on the obverse. The wooden grip is ornately carved with oak-leaf motifs, and inset with the SA enamel insignia and national eagle. The scabbard, covered in brown leather, with engraved nickel-silver fittings with fine oak-leaf and acorn detailing. Good condition. Authenticity not guaranteed. Total length: 38.4 cm.
