Description
Judaica old Hebrew Book, Sefer Chessed L’Avraham, R. Avraham Yissachar HaKohen Rabinowitz, Piotrkow 1897. Sefer Chessed L’Avraham – Torah insights on festivals and sayings from Sages, by the sacred Admo Rabbi Avraham Yissachar HaKohen Rabinowitz of Radomsk, son and successor of the Tiferet Shlomo. First edition. Printed in Petrokov by the printer F. Belkhatovsky in 1897. This large-format Hebrew book features a decorated title page with red and black ink and a classic typographic border. Text entirely in Hebrew, arranged in traditional double columns. Binding in original marbled boards with black leather spine, showing age-related wear and patina consistent with its 19th-century origin. This work is a valuable artifact of Eastern European Jewish printing, scholarship, and liturgy at the close of the 19th century, reflecting the intellectual vibrancy of Polish Jewry before the 20th-century upheavals. Minor damage, see photo. Size 27x21 cm.
