An original of the Hebrew prayer book Seder Selichot, printed in Lemberg (now Lviv, Ukraine) by David Balaban in 1905. This volume contains the traditional penitential prayers (Selichot) recited during the High Holy Days and the days leading up to them, including Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. The book is printed in Hebrew script, featuring a decorative title page surrounded by an ornamental border. The interior contains prayers, liturgical poems, and traditional verses used in Ashkenazi Jewish communities, presented in a clear, legible typeface. The accompanying German title page reads: Slichot. Lemberg. Druck und Verlag von David Balaban. 1905. Original black embossed hardcover with period wear.
