Commemorative Pocket Watch, Kriegsmarine U-Boat Command, 1940, Nazi Germany, Third Reich. A German commemorative pocket watch presented circa 1940, associated with the Kriegsmarine submarine (U-Boot) service, preserved together with its original brass presentation case.The watch case is silver-plated, the obverse featuring a submarine in relief, set upon a large emblematic geometric background, the reverse engraved with “1940 / 5314.” The dial displays Roman numerals with subsidiary seconds dial and emblematic "OMEGA". The presentation case is made of brass with dark blue velvet lining, the exterior decorated with the submarine motif and eagle insignia in relief. Condition: good. Watch diameter: approximately 4.2 cm. Case diameter: approximately 6.2 cm.
