Description

А WWII Rare German Third Reich Chained NSKK Dagger, Model 1936 by Carl Eickhorn (1940). This rare Model 1936 chained service dagger was issued to the Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps (NSKK), the National Socialist Motor Corps, representing a highly prized example of regulated German paramilitary regalia. The hilt features a beautifully contoured brown wooden grip inset with the standard national eagle and the SA emblem, securely held between nickel-plated crossguards. The double-edged steel blade is exceptionally clean, featuring the crisp, deeply acid-etched organizational motto "Alles für Deutschland" on the obverse, while the reverse ricasso is stamped with the RZM logo over the maker code "M 7/66" and dated "1940," confirming production by the renowned firm of Carl Eickhorn of Solingen. The dagger is housed in its original steel scabbard, finished in a correct high-gloss black enamel coating distinctive to the NSKK, and is fitted with polished nickel-plated mounts. The multi-link suspension chain features alternating panels with geometric swastikas and eagles, with the reverse of the upper link clearly stamped "MUSTERERSCHUTZ NSKK KORPSFÜHRUNG" to indicate official corps authorization. The chain is completed by a functional cloverleaf belt clip decorated with an embossed oak leaf and acorn design. Measuring approximately 37 cm in total length when scabbard. The item is in good condition.
