Very rare double-barrel flintlock pistol with vertical, rotating barrels, Italy, early 18th century. The barrels are octagonal at the beginning then becoming round, caliber 12 mm.. Wooden stock, a wooden ramrod with a steel tip, located on the side. The cock and flintlock plate are decorated with exquisite, engraved ornamentation. The openwork, steel flintlock mount is made very well. Steel pommel of the handle. A very rare, collector's item, demonstrating the skill of Italian gunsmiths. Length 48 cm.
