Description

The Magnificent Forged Steel Armor, Breast Plate with Fauld and Back Plate, Nuremberg 16th century. The breast plate is richly decorated with engraved plant ornamentation depicting armed angels and other weapons, brass rivets along the fauld, the back plate with fauld with similar rivets, decorated in the same style as the breast plate. Detachable skirt. A fine, rare set of Renaissance armour in good condition. Height of breast plate with fauld 44 cm. Height of back plate with fauld 40 cm.
