Rare Russian Imperial Cavalry Enlisted Man's Forage Vice Cap, 19th Century. An exceptional and rare vice cap worn by enlisted cavalry personnel of the Russian Imperial Army in the 19th century. The cap features a two-tone construction, black upper section and white band—with piping in white. Mounted on the front is a cockade in the traditional Imperial colors of orange and black, set within a silver-toned oval frame. Constructed from finely milled wool felt, the cap retains its original flat visor and brown leather chinstrap, secured with brass buttons. The interior shows period lining and signs of genuine use. A rare collectible artifact of the military history of the Russian Empire. Good condition. Height 13 cm.
