Rare, high quality, cutlery set, knife and fork, engraving, gilding, France, 17th century. Exquisite iron knife handles are very richly decorated with engraving and gilding, figures of a man and a woman surrounded by a plant ornament. The steel blade of the knife is also decorated with a very beautiful plant ornament. A wonderful set belonged to a person from the upper class. A wonderful collectible artifact in good condition. Length 19 cm.
