Rare Folding Knife Combined with Percussion Pistol. Spain, mid-19th century. A fascinating example of 19th-century ingenuity, this compact folding knife incorporating a single-shot percussion pistol reflects the innovative craftsmanship of Spanish gun-smiths during the period of personal defense weapon experimentation. The piece features a faceted steel barrel, approximately 10 mm caliber, with a folding trigger and external percussion hammer. The grip scales are of bone, secured by iron rivets. A rare and evocative artifact, representing both the technical curiosity and romantic self-defense culture of mid-19th-century Spain. There is some minor damage, see photos.
