Printed in Venice by Alessandro Griffio in 1581. This early Italian Renaissance literary classic includes a suite of Petrarch’s works: sonnets, canzoni, and additional pieces. Bound in an 18th-century half-leather binding. Text in Italian. Includes an engraved title page and an extensive table of contents. 415 leaves (830 pages). Interior generally clean; wear to binding as expected with age. An important collectible from the Venetian golden age of printing. Size 18x22x5 cm.
