Rare Badge of the 4th Soviet Infantry Petrograd Command Courses of the Red Army, 1919. Extremely rare and historically important badge of the 4th Soviet Infantry Petrograd Command Courses of the Red Army, established in 1919 during the early years of the Russian Civil War. The badge is crafted in silver and enamel, featuring a central red five-pointed star with the hammer and plow emblem of the RSFSR. Below are crossed rifles over a military drum with the Roman numeral “IV”, surrounded by a laurel wreath. The lower ribbon bears the inscription “4th Soviet Infantry Command Courses, Petrograd 1919” (in Russian). The reverse displays a screwback fastener with maker’s mark. Dimensions: approximately 41 × 34 mm. Good condition.
