An elegant and rare officer’s regimental badge of the 67th Tarutinsky Infantry Regiment, commemorating the regiment’s centenary (1796–1896) during the reign of Emperor Nicholas II. The badge is crafted as an openwork monogram “A I” and “H II” (for Emperor Alexander I and Emperor Nicholas II). Crossed standards, encircled by a laurel and oak wreath symbolizing glory and valor, surmounted by the Imperial crown and a red-enamel ribbon inscribed “1796–1896.” A highly collectible Imperial Russian regimental badge, representing one of the historic infantry units of the Russian Imperial Army.
