Description

Nice South Indian Katar dagger with scabbard, 18th century. The powerful double-edged blade is covered with engraved inscriptions, the handle is decorated with gold and silver ornaments made using the kofgari technique. The wooden scabbard is covered with red fabric, the openwork end of the scabbard is gilded. Good condition. Length 44 cm.
