Description
Infantry Shako lance-corporal M.1871. Austria-Hungary, late 19th century. The shako is shaped as a truncated cone, tapering the top. The exterior is covered with black cloth, while the upper surface is finished in black lacquered leather. Along the top there is a woolen yellow cord with black stitching, indicating that its owner had the military rank of lance-corporal. On the front is the coat of arms of Austria-Hungary and the cockade of the lower ranks. A wonderful collector's item in excellent condition. Height 15 cm.
