Imperial Russian Order of St George. A finely crafted cross of the Imperial Order of St. George, one of the most prestigious Russian military decorations, awarded exclusively for personal bravery and heroism in battle. The cross bears at its center a medallion depicting St. George slaying the dragon, symbolizing victory of good over evil. The reverse features the monogram of Emperor Nicholas I on white enamel. An exquisite example of Imperial Russian craftsmanship, representing one of the most honored distinctions in Tsarist military history. Dimensions: 28 mm. Condition: excellent, with vibrant original enamel and minor traces of age.
