Miniature Badge of the Odessa Military School Imperial Russia, early 20th century. A rare badge of the Odessa Military School, Imperial Russia, early 20th century. The badge is finely crafted in silvered metal and enamel, featuring a double-headed Imperial eagle with outstretched wings surmounted by the Imperial crown. At the center, a blue-bordered shield bears the monogram of Emperor Nicholas 2. The lower part of the badge displays the initials O.V.U. (Odessa Military School) surrounded by laurel and oak leaves. Screwback construction with original nut. Badges of Imperial Russian military schools are highly collectible, representing the final generation of officer education before the fall of the Empire in 1917.
