An 1833 model "Albertona" officer's sword, second quarter of the 19th Century. An elegant and scarce example of the 1833 model officer’s sword, commonly referred to as the “Albertona.”Straight blade with one fuller on each side. Brass, gilded hilt with heart-shaped guard, guard, grip ring. Wooden handle wrapped with twisted wire. Metal oval pommel with large button. Iron scabbard with two rings. Accompanied by its original iron scabbard fitted with two suspension rings. A fine and collectible military edged weapon of historical significance. Excellent condition. Length 102 cm.
