Description

A Rare WWII German Third Reich Numbered TeNo Officer's Dagger, Model 1938 by Eickhorn. This exceptionally rare German Model 1938 officer's dagger was produced for the Technische Nothilfe (TeNo), the state organization for technical emergencies, and represents a sample of specialized paramilitary regalia. The hilt features a silver-plated crossguard with the distinctive TeNo eagle clutching a cogwheel swastika, paired with a vibrant orange-yellow ribbed trolon grip and a circular pommel with a cogwheel motif. The double-edged steel blade is of superior quality, bearing the stamped "squirrel" trademark of the renowned Original Eickhorn Solingen firm alongside the TeNo organizational eagle and the "GES. GESCH." protection mark. A unique feature of this specimen is the stamped serial number "1321" on the blade's ricasso, identifying it as a specific issued piece. The pebbled steel scabbard is fitted with two suspension rings and a decorative chape. Accompanied by its original set of black leather hangers with circular nickel-plated buckles, the dagger measures approximately 42 cm in total length when sheathed. The item is in Excellent condition.
