Description
A Mughal gem-set rock crystal hilted dagger with scabbard, India, 18th century. The recurved, double-edged blade forged from wootz steel has two fullers on each side. At the base of the blade there is a decoration made of gold kofgari in the form of floral decoration. The magnificent old handle with a classic shape, made of rock crystal and inlaid with gold and precious stones. The original wooden scabbard is covered with old fabric. A magnificent collectible Mughal dagger from the 18th century. Length 41 cm.
