A rare Indian bronze open work elephant goad or ankus, 19th century. The openwork bronze shaft of rare shape with small bells inside. In the upper part, there is a thorn in the shape of a leaf. The hook is made in the shape of a snake, opposite is a figurine of an elephant. A rare form of Ankus in collectible condition. Good condition. Length 56 cm.
