Description
A Rare, children's Polish or Ukraine saber, Karabela, Vivat Hussar, 18th century. The slightly curved steel blade was probably made in Solingen, Germany. On both sides it is decorated with an engraved ornament depicting a hussar on a horse and the inscription “Vivat Hussar”. The bronze hilt consists of a handle and guard decorated with relief ornaments in the Rococo style. The upper part of the handle is made in the form of an eagle's head. Length 54 cm.
