The hilt is meticulously crafted from metal and features a grip decorated with delicate silver floral inlays that cover the surface in a dense, traditional foliate pattern. At the terminal, the pommel is fashioned into a majestic, snarling tiger’s head, - an iconic symbol of power and military prowess in Indian iconography, which has been richly gilded and further enhanced with detailed ribbed inlays to accentuate its anatomical features.
