Description
A Perfectly preserved Sword, Openwork steel, France, 18th century. The blade of the sword is steel, triangular with fullers on each side, tapering towards the end. The pommel is hollow with perforated ornament. The cup is also perforated with a plant ornament. Between the crosspiece and the cup there are two ring-shaped closed bows. Wooden handle, wrapped with wire and tape, upper and lower ring made of braided wire. The white scabbard with metal fittings is well preserved. A beautiful, high-quality sword for collecting in good condition. Length 106 cm.
