Description

A Perfectly preserved Sword, Openwork steel, blackening, gilding, France, late 17th - early 18th C. The blade is straight, steel, in excellent condition. Decorated on both sides with engraved patterns with blueing and gilding. The steel hilt is decorated with voluminous carvings depicting mythical heroes, floral decorations and mystical animals. The wooden handle is wrapped with steel wire. Rare collectible sword in excellent condition. Length 92 cm.
