The hilt is meticulously carved from natural horn, secured by decorative silver with filigree floral bosses, a characteristic aesthetic of the regional elite. The scabbard is bound in black leather and fitted with a silver fittings, both extensively decorated with traditional niello scrollwork, foliate motifs, and deep etching. Notable markings include a Georgian script inscription and a date on the reverse of the silver locket, suggesting a commemorative or personal provenance from the early 1900s.
