A Dagger "KAMA" Russian Empire, Georgia, circa 1900, silver and niello, inscription in Georgian. This exceptional Caucasian kindjal represents the refined craftsmanship of the Imperial Georgian tradition, featuring a double-edged steel blade with fullers designed for both structural rigidity and balanced handling. The hilt is meticulously carved from natural horn, secured by decorative silver with filigree floral bosses, a characteristic aesthetic of the regional elite. The scabbard is bound in black leather and fitted with a silver fittings, both extensively decorated with traditional niello scrollwork, foliate motifs, and deep etching. Notable markings include a Georgian script inscription and a date on the reverse of the silver locket, suggesting a commemorative or personal provenance from the early 1900s. The weapon measures approximately 59 cm in total length within the scabbard, serving as both a formidable sidearm and a prestigious ceremonial object. The item is in good condition.
